Socrates Crete was a unique opportunity for me to connect in a non-work environment with people that love making and talking about software in the beautiful island of Crete.
One of my favorite experiences was a late night "geek-out" we had where we gathered with beers and tackled "escape room" themed puzzles using coding. I had to join the org team for next year’s event. More years have passed and the event experience gets better and better with more wonderful people and memories. I can't wait for this year’s one!

As an ‘outsider’, observing the Socrates Crete open space unconference was an overwhelming experience. Having the opportunity to participate in the organising team was such an honour. Interacting with such open minded colleagues and bringing my share of knowledge to this event is an unforgettable experience.

These events have supported my professional growth while also leaving a lasting personal impact. After two years of attending SoCraTes Crete, as a participant, I became certain that this is an event that targets and attracts out-of-the-box thinkers - people who genuinely want to make a difference while expanding their skills and knowledge.

As a co-founder of AgileCrete, back in 2014, and SoCraTes Crete since 2018, I am amazed how much I am still learning, with every new iteration - 10 years down the line.
